My career has been builded since 1979, when i graduated in mechanical engineering.Thirty eight years varied experience with firms specializing in the basic design, engineering detailing phase, shipbuilding and construction of offshore structures for the oil and gas industry, including project management, engineering, procurement, cost control, construction, quality assurance, quality control and strong commitment with EHS.Ability to promote operational and organizational changes in competitive companies and enviroments under adverse conditions.Monitors work progress with subordinates to assess job status. Provides guidance, direction and corrective action where required to ensure company and contractual project expectations are met.Leads process improvement initiatives for the Engineering, Procurement and Production Departments. As oil & gas director, prepared the company for the market as a new representative this segment in contracts under EPC regime.As managing director, with overall responsibility for profit and loss ( P&L ), was in charge to recover and leveraging the company`s profitability, with the implementation on the new organizational structure appropriate for a new growth cycle.As contracts manager, for over 20 years working in large companies, was responsible for the management of large public and private enterprises, in industrial civil construction , and electromechanical assemblies, primarily for Petrobras, in a number of Refineries and Petrochemical Plants.As production engineer, for nearly 10 years, worked in the offshore arena, coordinating the construction of modules and jackets, used in oil exploration, in contracts under EPC regime.I believe in colaborative and results-oriented leadership. I am a strategic planner, skilled in the business restructuring and management, with large experience in the local and multinational companies.
