As the leader of the 80+ member Systems Engineering Team for Lockheed Martin's multi-billion dollar Infrared Search & Track (IRST) product lines, I serve as the technical conscience of all aspects of Systems Engineering in support of product development for DoD contracts and IRADs for the USAF, USN, and international customer communities. Our agile organization drives planning and execution of system design and requirements, tactical algorithm development, digital twin M&S, system security engineering, hardware integration, flight test campaigns, system performance assessment, V&V, and production. With a diverse portfolio of R&D efforts to reflect the needs of future customers, our organization drives pathfinding engineering work to position the franchise to expand into new markets and multi-domain mission areas. As the lead Engineering and Technology Manager for this organization I am responsible for critical skill training, talent recruitment, career development, employee retention, and performance assessments across many engineering disciplines, i.e. GNC, Image Processing, Electro-Optical Engineering, ML/AI, Modeling & Simulation, Design & Requirements, and System and Cybersecurity Engineering.

Manager of 22-member multi-disciplinary integrated product team that supports the design, development, and deployment of advanced embedded algorithms for the Infrared Search & Track (IRST21) product lines; Leadership responsibilities include engineering staff development, talent recruitment, employee performance management, Agile contract execution, internal R&D portfolio management, technology roadmap development, technical training course instruction, and mentoring through corporate leadership development programs;

I served as the Lead Engineer for a diverse portfolio of R&D efforts in support of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Advanced Technology Directorate. Throughout my tenure I led a geographically dispersed team through the execution of several high profile technology demonstration events for the Standard Missile-3 and the MQ-9 Reaper Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle (UAV) programs. Technologies developed include open architecture algorithm frameworks (C++), high-fidelity electro-optical, infrared, and RF sensor 6DoF simulations, and novel seeker algorithms to support the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) mission area.

Experimental particle physicist and scientific programmer working on the CMS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider. I was actively involved in co-managing small teams within the collaboration to implement and execute data analysis strategies.

Collaborator on the CMS particle physics experiment built on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). As a member of CMS I have served as a software administrator and developer of a dedicated class of event reconstruction algorithms which specialize in missing energy calculations and beam halo identification. For my thesis research, I played a leading role at the University of Florida in optimizing search strategies for evidence of new physics signals (Supersymmetry) using Monte Carlo simulations and the first collision data recorded by the LHC. I had the privilege to spend one year (2010) at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland in order to conduct research on site.
