At Ashby, we're building an all-in-one recruiting product that consolidates your ATS, Sourcing & CRM, Scheduling, and Analytics into a single solution – all with best-in-breed functionality and seamless UX.As one of Ashby's first employees, I've helped grow our team from five people in San Francisco with zero customers to over 100 team members and several hundred customers across the globe. The majority of my work has been leading our small (but mighty) Scheduling Team, which over the past few years has made Ashby's scheduling product a best-in-class solution that successfully manages tens of thousands of interviews per week.While I've shifted away from the scheduling product, I continue to work as a full-stack engineer on other features that improve the quality of life of recruiters and candidates, and I foster our continued team growth through mentoring and recruiting Ashby team members.

PlanGrid was acquired by Autodesk in February 2019.Since the acquisition, I work on our next-generation construction tools as engineering lead (primarily iOS, some full-stack work) on the User Lifecycle team. Our team's domain includes:- In-product onboarding- Defining, measuring, and improving user engagement across our different product offerings- Project Hub, our next generation dashboard that provides users with relevant and personalized real-time project information.

After team reorganization, I became currently fully immersed in PlanGrid's work on Growth and lead our bottoms-up Growth Team. While I was still the main party responsible for implementing Growth initiatives on our mobile clients, I spent a much larger portion of my time analyzing product metrics, planning and coordinating cross-platform and cross-functional Growth work, and generally forming product strategies that target growth vectors and optimize the delivery of PlanGrid's value to our customers.

PlanGrid is construction software made for the field. Architects and contractors use PlanGrid to collaborate on project plans, specs, photos, RFIs, and punchlists using desktop or mobile devices—in real-time, from just about anywhere. Trusted by major construction firms on more than a million projects, PlanGrid currently stores digital blueprints for millions of construction projects in the cloud.At the start of my time at PlanGrid, I mainly worked on our award-winning app as the iOS platform team's Growth specialist. As a function of our work to build and improve our universal iOS app in Swift and Objective-C, I prototyped, instrumented, and iterated on experimental features that align with growth vectors such as user acquisition and retention. I also worked on related features in PlanGrid's Android codebase as needed.Other notable projects included revamping our mission-critical authentication and account upgrade/lockout flows on our iOS app with zero downtime.

InvoiceASAP is the first fully integrated mobile invoicing tool that allows you to generate and pay invoices on-the-go using your phone or tablet. The InvoiceASAP app and desktop management tool is used by over 200,000 customers in 121 countries, helping businesses of all sizes get paid faster.As Head of Mobile, I rewrote the original InvoiceASAP mobile app using the best of modern iOS, including functional programming patterns in Swift and a clean, extensible architecture with Storyboards. After its release, this new version of InvoiceASAP became an App Store "Featured Business" app in December 2015 through February 2016.I was also responsible for building upon our existing mobile codebases and integrating both the InvoiceASAP Android and iOS apps with other leading drivers in the industry such as PayPal and Square.

I provided computer hardware, software, network, and conferencing support in Windows enterprise and classroom settings at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. This included tasks like deploying system images and software to new computers, purchasing and repairing Windows desktops and laptops, setting up telephone and video conferences, and performing product research to find solutions for unique classroom and office circumstances (e.g. recording of many simultaneous meetings for a negotiations class).In addition to scheduling and performing computer support tasks for 120+ faculty and staff, I trained and supervised a IT team of 10 students to do the same.

Parsed and analyzed SEC financial statements to map business trends using Microsoft Excel to augment research of digital bookstore growth vs. brick-and-mortar stores.
