Hospitality and tourism are my PASSION and my mantra is DELIVER! as I always deliver good results and high guest satisfaction. I do this with a focus on people (guests as well as employees) to create a memorable guest experience and has resulted in several awards (incl. Best Hotel General Manager Nigeria 2019).-An unrivaled experience: 30+ years / 8 pre-openings (6 in Africa) and several take-over & rebranding projects, ensures that I can handle -nearly- every situation and achieve results-Excellent in sales- & marketing (online & off-line) strategy development / coordinating and coaching S & M Department, PR and creating product / brand awareness-Strong networker. -highly experienced in Operations Management (e.g. ECOWAS Summit 2017 in Liberia)-Excellent in coaching and developing staff and creating a corporate culture-Strong acumen and experience in recruitment and training in Africa-strong technical (incl. construction & renovation) knowledge, incl. construction management-Excellent financial analytical skills (incl. controlling, reporting etc.)-People who know me, say "creative" (personal and professional) should be my middle name.-I am well able to perform in hardship locations and overcome challenges.-Initiating and supporting Corporate Social Responsibility and green projects are part of my work, since I think this should be an integral part of any business philosophy.I prefer medium size operations (max. 220 rooms/ mix of leisure, business and conference), since interaction with individual guests is more personal and guest and staff have names and not numbers.
