Provided video capture and content services for these and many other mountain and road bike events.

Consulting at an organization with a large repository of digital assets.Tapped into the realm of Computational Linguistics. Developed a procedure to automatically mark up XML constructs in running text in 13 languages.

Contributed to software development and to training sets for a place name normalization authority.

Video transfer services

Authored the first international standard on internationalization for a UNIX platform. Under the original title of Native Language Support, develop the paradigm in which text, currency, date and time, prompts and messages, and other aspects of application software are internationalized and localized. Later adopted by X/OPEN, now The Open Group.Modeled cognitive processes in the setting of manufacturing order fulfillment. Developed a set of intelligent agents which controlled the configuration of individual units in four manufacturing lines. Tested to real-time response up to ten thousand units per hour.Program Manager: HP-UX 6.0 release. Brought out first support for diskless clusters on HP-UX for the technical workstations. Also involved in program management of HP-UX 8.0.Software Development: edited JetSend Specification. Led technical development of JetSend Appliance Development Kit.Software Development: HP-UX internationalization product. First implementation to support Japanese on a UNIX platform. Resultant work formed the basis for X/Open International Standard.Software Development: involved with development of application software including Graphic Presentations and IMAGE / Query data base products for the HP 9845 technical workstation.Product Manager: Lead for Technical Demo development taskforce.
