Started in 2013 with the design of the Security Operations Center roadmap. With a team of exceptional members we have build the Motiv Security Operations Center in the last years. Nowadays, the Motiv SOC delivers exceptional services to our customers. Our main capabilities include, but are not limited to, Security Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Policy Compliance, Penetration Testing. Responsible for - The delivery of core SOC services- Management, implementation and innovation of capabilities and services. - Development and implementation of all SOC policies and procedures- Growing maturity by managing the people, process and technology triangle- Aligning (customer) business risks to our core services and capabilities- Managing a group of security professionals- Translate strategic plans to operational objectives

At Motiv we deliver managed security services to our customers. I'm responsible for a team of 60+ security professionals who are divided in three units, the network operations center (NOC), the security operations center (SOC) and Professional Services (consultants).

Working for the consulting department. Running projects related to information security including, but not limited to, Penetration Testing, Web Application Security, Email Security, Firewalls, IDP, Application Delivery and Linux. Currently I'm working on several web application security projects for middle to large organizations, in the upcoming months several penentration tests are scheduled to be performed.Working with products like:- Imperva SecuritySphere- F5 LTM- Juniper Firewalls, Routers, Switches- InfoBloxKey activities include, but are not limited to:- Pre-Sales- Presentations / training - Consultancy- Troubleshooting

Responsible for the redesign of the E-mail infrastructure. Wrote the technical design based on the functional requirements and responsible for the implementation of IronPort E-mail Security Appliances.After this project I participated in the Support Organization for six months and gave personnel on-the-job training.

My internship at Glencore Grain BV included a penetration test at one of their offices. Internal objects were examined. A report was generated after the examination including the positive and negative results. This report was followed by a thorough presentation.

My main function was implementing security appliances for customers in their IT environment.
