Trained field representatives on inspection, calculation, and report writing techniques.• Inspected and documented daily construction progress, observed contractor construction methods, and monitored storm water pollution prevention and safety practices. Significant Achievements: Singlehandedly inspected four construction crews and coordinated interstate traffic lane closures for one week during night construction. Monitored bridge demolition, earthwork, asphalt milling, and steel rebar placement on the project. All construction was per plan and documented. Lanes closures were open by 6:00 A.M. daily per the contract. Discovered the proposed alignment for an overpass ramp stop sign was incorrectly located and wouldn’t function as intended. Using 100’ measuring tape, a string line, and pavement marking paint, supervised the relocation of a new striping alignment and stop sign placement. The impromptu resolution solved the problem. The public was allowed to use the facility an hour earlier than scheduled.
