Director, Marketing And Communications
CurrentI provided strategic guidance and leadership as a trusted advisor, working with Marketing Operations and Program teams to achieve organizational goals for the Education Practice. I oversaw the largest portfolio in the organization, completing over 300 deliverables in 2023. I led strategic marketing and communications campaigns for this extensive portfolio, showcasing my proficiency in crafting national campaign plans and messaging. By fostering relationships with external vendors and media partners, I strengthened brand awareness and increased visibility at national events such as SXSW, ASU + GSV, JFF Horizons, and Achieving the Dream. I collaborated cross-functionally to identify opportunities for demand generation and engagement through various channels, supporting initiatives like The Big Blur, Pathways to Prosperity Network, and the SSCN. I launched two 10-year anniversary campaigns for the Pathways to Prosperity Network and the Student Success Center Network, resulting in a 75% increase in subscribers and generating thousands of new web visitors. In partnership with JFF’s PR team, I worked with stakeholders to develop impact stories that gained national attention from outlets such as Forbes, HR Dive, University Business, Education Week, and NBC News. I led a national campaign with internal stakeholders and external partner American Student Assistance to create a narrative change on multiple pathways for students, resulting in the rollout of white papers and resources featured in various news outlets, including University Business, Forbes, USA Today, and Boston Globe.
