I am a recent graduate of BSc Mathematical Sciences at the University of Limerick, where I specialised in Statistics. In my third year of this course, I undetook a nine month internship in the Northern Trust Hedge Fund Sevices department. In my final year, I achieved a First-Class Honours in both semesters and in my Final Year Thesis, which focused on Time Series Analysis.I then carried my quantitative skillset to the MSc Finance (Banking & Risk Management) course at University College Cork. Throughout the year, I achieved a First-Class Honours in both semesters while working part-time as an Econometrics Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics. I was also awarded a First-Class Honours in my Summer Dissertation, titled: ‘Analysing the Options Pricing Behaviour of Developed Market Stock Indexes using the Black Scholes Model with GARCH Volatility’. These results ranked me first in my class and summed to a Cumulative GPA of 3.95 for the year.
