I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Dublin City University, and a Higher Diploma in Web Technologies and Cloud Computing from Dublin Business School. My most recent role was as a Platform Operations Analyst at FreedomPay, a global leader in payment and commerce technologies. There, I was responsible for the maintenance of the global payment platform, and supported platform-wide releases, internal and third-party certificates, and cross-functional collaboration.Before joining FreedomPay, I worked as an Application Support Specialist and a Technical Analyst at ESB, Ireland's largest electricity utility. I was the subject matter expert and application owner for a bespoke software solution, and oversaw its development from proof of concept to production system. I also managed new and existing environments for integration with SAP, and created a three-year plan for hardware requirements. I used SQL, MongoDB, Active Directory, and PowerShell to perform application installs, patch deployments, documentation, and testing. I contributed to the ESB Networks Smart Metering project, which aimed to improve customer service, energy efficiency, and network reliability.
