I currently work part-time as a barman in the Red Gap. I serve customers and process cash transactions. I have a good rapport with the locals and enjoy being part of a fun, social environment. I also change kegs when necessary and reconcile cash at the end of the night.

In what is an exciting week in Galway at the end of every July, the Galway Races attracts thousands of people to Ballybrit each year. I have had the pleasure of being in the thick of it as a barman in various tents throughout the racecourse. I prepared and served drinks to customers whilst also being conscious of underage drinking and asking for.

I have gained experience in teaching Junior Cycle and TY Science and also Senior Cycle Physics and Chemistry as well as providing Learning support for 5th Year Math students I have accompanied students on numerous trips including Dublin and Romania. I coordinated numerous events in the school to promote Science Week including a magic show performed by TY.

I worked part-time as a barman in the Derreen Inn until its closure in November 2015. I was responsible for serving drinks to customers and processing payments. I ensured customer satisfaction and reconciled cash at the end of the night.
