As an undergraduate business student, my journey began early with a desire to create something of my own while balancing school and work. In high school, I launched Ronan Property Management (RPM), which provided hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and invaluable lessons in commitment, creativity, and adaptability. Running RPM taught me how to manage operations, market services, engage with customers, and handle finances, all while navigating challenges like time management and customer satisfaction.Alongside managing RPM, I worked part-time at COBS Bakery, where I developed teamwork skills and learned the importance of delivering excellent customer service. This role helped me balance a demanding schedule, deepening my understanding of what it takes to make a business successful from the ground up.My passion for business led me to join the Investment and Capital Markets Club in high school and university, where I gained exposure to the financial world and expanded my knowledge of investments and strategic analysis.Outside of academics, I'm an avid snowboarder, tennis player, and soccer goalie, bringing these passions to Western through the Ski and Snowboard Club and intramural sports. I’ve also achieved Grade 3 in piano and am fluent in French. Committed to giving back, I donate homemade casseroles/baked goods to the Good Shepherd Men’s Shelter and volunteer with Starlight Canada. This journey of entrepreneurship, academics, and personal growth has shaped who I am today, and I’m eager to share my story with future employers.
