My responsibilities were to:Provide drilling support during the following concurrent drilling operations:- Exploration drilling campaign during 2 years with Semi-sub Diamond Ocean Valiant on Block 17/06. 9 exploration deep waterwells drilled.- Challenges: Deepwater wells with HPHT reservoirs leading to heavy deepwater architecture.- Problems encountered: Narrow mud weight window. Uncertainty on pore pressure. APB issues- Development Drilling Campaign with Jack up rig (Saipem Perro negro 6):- Challenges: 4 Extended reach wells drilled in depleted fractured carbonate reservoirs with new build rig. Anti-collision with 60existing wells drilled in 1980.- Problems encountered: Difficult well trajectories due to collision avoidance. Total losses experienced during drillingoperations. Technical side track following stuck BHA.- Development ERD wells on Pazflor project with drillships (Saipem 12K, Pride Angola)- Challenges: ERD wells with horizontal drains in Oligocene and Miocene reservoir.- Problems encountered: Directionnal drilling in unconsolidated sand formation.- Prepare drilling program and associated AFE and provide engineering support during drilling operations.- Perform post-analysis of well operations to improve performances and implement lessons learned register.- Develop and maintain Standard Instructions to ensure best and safe practices.- Participate in the preparation of the SIMOPS procedures in order to enhance overall rig performance.- Ensure reporting, well workflow, well summary, budget and well cost follow up.- Transfer knowhow to junior engineers.
