I was born in Cork in the beautiful south of Ireland, and via London, Dublin and Madrid I have found my way to the city of Düsseldorf nestled on the river Rhein. My career has taken a similarly diversified route from consulting to accountancy to sales and marketing to my current station of coaching. Sport has been intertwined with every aspect of my life to date, culminating in leading the Irish Men´s National Hockey Team to qualify for the first time ever to the Olympic Games (Rio 2016).I love to be around and work with energetic, pro-active and passionate individuals. The desire to be part of a team and its necessity for trust, honesty and full commitment stems from my sporting days…the same applies undeniably in a working environment. My most difficult (and rewarding) negotiations currently take place on the battlefield of the kitchen floor (meal times), the bathroom (toothbrush the weapon of choice) and the kids bedroom (one book or two?).
