I worked for over 8 years at Grant Associates, a pioneering landscape architecture practice based out of Bath, UK and Singapore. The practice specialises in pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the landscape profession by reconnecting people with nature in insightful, delightful and distinctive ways, whilst addressing the global challenges of urbanisation, climate change and biodiversity loss. During my time at Grants I worked on a diverse mix of project types including; large and small scale mixed use developments, urban regeneration, public parks, national parks, recreational spaces, horticultural and design expos, exhibits, bridges, conceptual competitions and future masterplanning. My key responsibilities included managed and coordinating landscape projects from concept through to construction and completion. I regularly worked across multidisciplinary international design teams taking on the role of both sub and lead designer, while building and maintaining excellent relationships with consultants and clients. Within the company I specialised in conceptual design, 3d modelling, visualising and 3d printing, and constantly looked to push the boundaries of what we do as landscape design professionals.
