I am an IT professional with over 4 years of experience in the IT industry. I have an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in IT Management from IT Carlow.Before completing my degree, I worked as a Systems Administrator for 2 years for a company called Diltek. Diltek is an IT support and Consulting company that manages IT systems for many Irish Companies.As part of my college degree, I obtained and successfully completed a 6 month internship in Amazon Web Services as a Cloud Support Intern in the security team. I worked as part of a global support team to support customers over email, web chat and phone in all aspects of AWS cloud security. After completing my internship I was offered a full time position in Amazon Web Services as a Cloud Support Associate upon finishing my degree.I rejoined Amazon Web Services in May 2018 as a Cloud Support Associate in the Networking team. While working with AWS I greatly improved my knowledge and experience in the IT industry. I was the winner of multiple monthly awards for customer obsession and diving deep into customer issues and determining a fast and effective solution. I obtained the AWS Solution Architect Associate and AWS developer certifications. I was deemed to raise the bar for the team in many areas and met the bar for promotion to Cloud Support Engineer at the beginning of August 2019.I left AWS at the end of August 2019 as I wanted to move abroad.
