I was the Mechanical Lead for the Livermore High School First Robotics Team, GravitechX. I led the design, fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, and testing of our competition robots. I am also responsible for teaching the new team members (usually around 20), all the aspects of robotics engineering they need to be a good FIRST Robotics competitor.

I learned about Biotechnology and did research on the plant Duckweed (Landoltia Punctata). I used bacteria culturing with vector plasmids to clone DNA. I sequenced and analyzed pieces of the Duckweed DNA. My work is published in NCBI.

I served as an engineering event leader, directing build events and winning over 20 medals in my events. My team's highest placement was 2nd in a regional competition and 7th in the California state competition.
