Ron Aquino Email and Phone Number
Ron has more than 15 years experience in providing clients with specialist structural services including performance-based seismic evaluation and retrofit design, assessment of lively floors and bridges, wind-induced structural loading, structural health monitoring and testing, system identification (EMA/OMA), nonlinear structural analysis, nonlinear characterization of structural dynamic properties, and motion control solutions including analysis and design of building systems with tuned mass dampers, tuned water dampers and base isolation. His roles at Motioneering and at RWDI currently focus on providing clients wind engineering and damping solutions. He has also delivered undergraduate and graduate courses on engineering mechanics, structural dynamics, and wind engineering, regularly published papers and academic articles since 2005, and conducted civil-structural design for small residential applications to large stadium structures. He obtained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Major in Structural Engineering, from the University of the Philippines in 2007 and his Doctor of Engineering degree from the Graduate School of Architecture and Wind Engineering, Tokyo Polytechnic University in 2013.
