With my extensive interest and experience in technical solutions and interaction between old and new technologies I play an important role in paving the road to the future. "Trendwatcher" Keeping an eye on new technology, world developments and human interactions to these transitions. I advise engineers, managers and the board of directors on the best choices to be made for the future.Field of operation: Energy transition, rail safety systems, general safety, WLS (Dutch - Wet Lokaal Spoor), innovations, policy, patents, documentation and work procedures.

As general manager I am responsible for innovative projects. Projects that are not always for commercial gain but also take responsibility for safety and environmental issues. Lead project for inXno was the development and patenting of a new train detection system to replace the existing axel counter and shunt systems and to compliment ERTMS for level 3 (moving blocks). We are mainly active in the private and public transport markets but certainly would not let excellent new opportunities go to waste.

In charge of and responsible for the Dutch railroad network regarding train detection equipment and continuity of these systems. This also includes the development of new train detection equipment to the ERTMS/ETCS standards in European joint ventures.

In charge of the project office for all long-term replacement projects and the new North-South metro track in Amsterdam.
