Wireless Zone was a regional Verizon cell phone retailer, trying to become the national Verizon franchise. They provided their franchisees with device and accessory distribution and negotiated activation commission and residual usage income streams for franchisees.I developed lead generation programs and marketing materials, developed a retail site selection and lease negotiation process, designed and hosted the Discovery Day program and managed regional Verizon relationships. I hired and mentored sales and operations personnel and exhibited at national and regional franchise expos to build candidate and industry awareness. Grew from 52 units by awarding 331 franchises personally and 446 total in 12 years Generated over $7.3M in initial franchise fees and over $89M in royalty income, leading to an increase from $4.1M gross profit in 1998 to over $47M in 2010 Attained rank of 35th Fastest Growing Franchise and recognized as #1 in category for 9 years by Entrepreneur Magazine
