As Chief at Aviv's Tribe, I assumed the responsibility of leading and operating 1200 kids aged 9 to 18, prioritizing safety in every aspect. My role involved managing operational logistics, education, and young leadership training, as well as overseeing tens of annual events, festivals, trips, and camps. In addition, I successfully led a team, managing a few direct employees and around 40 volunteering young leaders. I dynamically adjusted to ongoing changes guided by the Hebrew Scouts movement leadership, navigating through international and country concurrent events—from occasional missile alarms to the impact of COVID on teenagers. During my tenure in the IDF, I served as the Budget Officer in the Information Systems branch, responsible for the maintenance and development of military information systems. In this role, I managed a high-value budget of approximately 80 million shekels per year. My work included planning and managing the allocation of economic resources among various projects and teams within the branch, including a broad view of the project timeline and its implications for the following years.Additionally, I specialized in responsibilities involving the hiring of external contractor employees, including consultants, and managing their salaries. Furthermore, I was involved in managing and inputting civilian employee salaries for the IDF.I was the direct liaison with external contracting companies, conducting interviews and overseeing the entire hiring process for all external employees who came to the branch. Within this role, I maintained close relationships with leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Ness Digital Engineering, and One Software Technologies Ltd.The use of tools such as SAP, Excel, and data analysis was crucial to my success in the role, enabling me to efficiently manage budget processes and provide accurate and in-depth reports to the branch head and partner companies.
