I focus my research at the Wharton school on online marketing and digital media. My recent projects involve online advertising attribution, recommendation systems, the trajectory of success for startups as well as online experimentation.I hold a PhD in Marketing from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.Prior to academia I was part of the Carmel Ventures investment team, where I participated in investment rounds of several million dollars in early stage startups.My expertise include analysis of early stage startups, with a focus on web and media companies, as well as performing due diligence and accompanying investment and company building processes.During my tenure at the IDF I led and guided several teams of software developers through the development of a diverse set of projects, ranging from low level and stability critical products to high level multi-user environments.
