Forty years aircraft engineering/engineering leadership experience dealing with U.S. Military, Foreign Military and commercial customers.While Chief Engineer for the T-6B Avionics Upgrade and Gross Weight Increase aircraft I led the engineering and technical publications team through the successful contract award, development/design, FAA certification, USG acceptance and aircraft delivery.During this time my team and I established an outstanding relationship with the FAA Military Certification Office (MCO) and the Air Force/Navy Program/Engineering office as a result of many years of working with these agencies.Previous experience includes building and leading a team of approximately 200 professionals representing a full range of technical disciplines. Responsibilities included technical oversight, staffing requirements, budgetary and department long term planning for aircraft production, product upgrades and field support for all Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) trainer aircraft.Participated in the development of numerous successful proposal efforts for commercial, U.S. government and Foreign Military programs. Supported numerous contract and contract modification negotiations.
