Over the course of his career, he has been based in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan developing and implementing Corporate Communications, Brand Reputation, Media Relations and Risk Management plans in senior market, regional and global roles.As Regional General Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Relations with Toys"R"Us Asia, Ron provided executive leadership and communications planning and implementation support across eight Asian markets, including Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Brunei.Previously, Ron spent 18 years with leading foodservice company, McDonald’s Corporation, most recently as Global Head of Corporate Relations for the company's International Franchised Markets. Here he was responsible for establishing and driving brand experience and reputation management strategies to support business growth in McDonald’s 83 franchised markets representing 13,800 restaurants across Asia, the Middle East & Africa, Europe and Latin America. Ron possesses strong analytical, storytelling and writing skills and leverages cross-functional relationships to actively lead internal change initiatives, with a track record of successfully navigating complex environments, cultural nuances, organizational structures and situations.
