Gains were from increased Sales volumes; Efficiency improvements due to implementation of Lean Methodologies; Quality advancements resulting from DMAIC and Zero Defect Standard practices; along with Purchasing activities of Supplier auditing and consolidation, Just Costing and Pricing negotiations.• Responsible for multi-million dollar monthly budgets emphasizing Operational costs, Materials Management / Inventory, Purchasing and Quality. New cell resulted in a 20% reduction in work space, headcount reduction of 3 FTE’s, 220% efficiency improvement from 21.8 minutes per unit in Q1 2014 to 10.4 minutes per unit in Q1 2015 & a capacity increase from 250/300 units per week to 450/525 units per week. • Advanced Warranty Return program for “Out of Box Failures” (OBF’s) as Customer Warranty replacements. All returned items were inspected and tested by In-house staff for “as new” condition prior to being considered a Warranty Replacement. Program resulted in annual savings of $150K - $250 in 2015 – 2017.• Introduced bi-weekly Supply Chain Quality calls with Districts, Distributors & National Accounts as “Voice of the Customer” feedback to prioritize issues or defects requiring “Corrective Actions” by the factory.
