The EQ-99 also won the 2011 R&D 100 award.• Responsible for mechanical design, calculations, documentation and support for plasma sources ranging in power between 1.5W – 60kW. Experience includes thermal analysis of said plasma sources which includes FEA thermal analysis using Cosmosworks software. Design includes source hardware & cooling systems, calculations to estimate flow requirements, pressure drops and cv calculations.• Sub-system design afforded experience with brazed assemblies, thermally epoxied cold plates, many sheet metal parts, as well as, 1000+ machined parts.
