These areas include cross-cutting initiatives that build an innovative, diverse, and entrepreneurial economy independent of any specific industry or technology sectors; and industry-specific initiatives that build off of existing strengths in strategically-selected technology and industry segments that include biosciences, electronics (e.g., controls, instruments, and MEM’s), fuel cells, information technology, and polymers & advanced materials. These initiatives were structured to accelerate the growth of high-wage jobs in high-growth, knowledge-based industries in our region.Ron was a founding Board Member and sat on the Executive Committee while also serving as Chairman of NorTech’s IT Leadership Council.
