I concentrate my practice in complex litigation. I have broad litigation experience, with primary emphasis in the areas of class actions, pharmaceuticals, product liability, business disputes, and construction litigation. I also represent defendants in asbestos litigation locally and regionally. I have recently successfully defended a multi-million dollar chemical exposure claim. My past experience includes serving as class counsel in a certified class action related to emissions from a factory and successful representation of plaintiffs in complex product liability, trucking, and professional malpractice claims. I have handled contstruction claims ranging from payment disputes to complex construction defect claims. My product liability experience includes cases regarding automotive systems, tires, electrical devices, aerosol cans, and other products.

As a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group, I served on a team of attorneys who worked as national coordinating counsel for an equipment manufacturer's asbestos litigation. I also represented asbestos defendants locally and regionally. I worked on other general litigation matters including product warranty claims, legal malpractice claims, construction claims, and premises liability matters.

I worked at Bowers Orr first as an associate and then as partner for nine years. I was part of a national coordinating counsel team overseeing nationwide defense of toxic torts claims. I handled product liability claims regarding a variety of products. I also represented plaintiffs in serious personal injury and class action litigation. I worked on substantial construction defect claims representing contractors, sureties, and materials manufacturers.

I was engaged in a general practice including handling worker's compensation claims, automobile accidents, and other types of general litigation.
