I am so very fortunate to have worked in so many different arenas throughout my long career. After college, I worked in public safety for several years before venturing into public education in Loudoun County, where I served as a teacher, middle school administrator, district-level recruiter, and staffing specialist. From there, I entered instructional technology with Fairfax County Public Schools for ten years, then moved to a similar role with much more responsibility with Arlington Public Schools also in Virginia. I had the distinct pleasure of working for Apple as a specialist and expert for several years, and also dabbled in winemaking and wine production consulting all mixed in between my full-time roles.
