Responsible for scaling operations for the teams that make up the Cryptography and Safety Engineering teams which include reviewing and tracking goals, operational planning cycles, rhythm of business cycles, tracking headcount, shaping, and operationalizing programs managed by the teams and its leaders, planning, organizing, coordinating and managing conference engagement, evangelizing tools, products and services, planning, organizing, and executing small and large scale internal and external events, building a community, recruiting partnerships with the AWS recruiting team, organizing and managing the intern and campus programs, global onboarding, etc. Also created and manage the Platform Early Career Talent program to ensure the consistent, collaborative and successful experience for more than 400+ interns and 500+ campus hires each year starting with demand through the entire life-cycle of the early career talent individuals. This includes working with the recruiting teams, ID&E teams, hiring managers, leaders, and a team of early career business partners (ECBPs) for each line of business.

Responsible for the onboarding, engagement, education, integration, and day-to-day operation of a global team of more than 700 members worldwide and growing more than 200% year over year. Also in charge of the budget tracking and forecasting for a budget of approximately $54MM every year. Responsible for multiple cross collaboration programs and projects. Additionally responsible for coordinating and successfully executing small to large scale events for the organization as well as individual teams within the org for both internal and external customers and stakeholders. The programs I ran had objectives and initiatives that span the entire AWS Security team on a global level. These programs included, but were not limited to, Onboarding, Career growth, Conference Engagements (in conjunction with our Marketing team), Security University Recruiting and Intern, Security payments, Community operations, Compliance partner recognition, Recruiting liaison, and Community Service. This is in addition to running large and small scale events for the org including both internal and external customers. The programs I ran were designed to actively integrate, engage, educate, and support AWS Security team members from hire through their career, successfully hold large scale events that encourage involvement, education, and interaction, and promote the highest level of Operational Excellence of an internationally expanding team where customer obsession and trust was our priority and growth is exponential.
