I have enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people through service organizations in the community. Partnerships were established when coming together for a common goal such as:Disaster Relief Efforts,Collecting food, loading, & delivering for local Food Centers,Tree planting,Weatherizing homes,Distributing fans for heat relief,Interviewing students for scholarship opportunities,Distributing dictionaries to grade school students,Training teachers through the Business to Education Partnership,Serving as small group leader & on personnel committee with my church,Helping kids in need,Serving on the A+ Committee to establish opportunities for students to get an affordable education,Serving on advisory boards to help students prepare for the business world,Raising funds by Bowling for Kid's Sake for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Served on Senior Leadership Team for Delivery Operations & corporate Public Affairs Leadership Team & as District Manager. Responsibility for leading a diverse team of employees located in six different locations in a cross-functional matrix environment to meet corporate initiatives throughout SE and East Districts providing electricity to over 100+ communities in West Central MO. Adapted a metro centric model to operate in a rural area to help two diverse companies come together for a common purpose. Tier I Award in Reliability and Customer Satisfaction for 2010.In the midst of a merger of two companies, mentored and developed employees and leaders to foster a winning culture where employees were engaged not only in their day to day work but creating ownership in their communities as well. Worked diligently to maintain a positive image for the new company to ensure customers and communities were not discouraged about the sale of the prior company. These efforts were recognized and rewarded in 2010 from the following organizations: Big Brothers and Big Sisters Community Partner Award, It Works for You Award, Economic Development Award, Missouri Community Betterment Award, United Way recognition for 100% employee participation in multiple locations in the District service centers, recognized by the Warrensburg School Board of Education for meeting and exceeding their needs and timeline on their new capital projects, all franchise agreements were unanimously approved by the city councils prior to deadlines, successfully worked across many departments on the Energy Center Combustion Turbine project receiving unanimous support from the city council with positive support from the community prior to the deadline and coming in under budget. In addition, closed one service center and effectively transitioned from one community relocating employees into another with positive results and without negatively impacting our customers or communities.

Successfully managed a large group of employees out of four different service centers providing quality customer service to customers across a large geographical area in all aspects of the construction, operations, and maintenance of electric distribution facilities. Responsible for field services, labor management, reliability, outage restoration, management of Capital and O & M budgets, providing a safe work environment, promoting a positive image in the community and served as project manager for third party electrical contractors for field operations, new construction, and outage restoration as well as meter reading. Extensive experience in recruiting apprentice journeyman lineman to build the workforce of the future.

State-wide responsibilities for all customer satisfaction drivers including but not limited to day to day operations of the Eastern and Southern Region, the Raytown Call Center/ Dispatch Center, Customer Care, Meter Reading, accurate billing, and collection activities. In addition, worked along side the State President to accomplish key and critical initiatives, served as the liaison for the company with the Public Service Commission, and also represented the company as a member of the company's labor relations negotiating team for new union contracts. Set very high expectations for myself and others to recruit the highest quality individuals and spend time at the front end of the process to select the right people for the right positions. This created a very positive culture of leaders who learned the business and were developed and promoted into leadership positions.
