Responsible for booking and coordinating suppliers, hiring staff, venue management, production schedule, budget management & site designs and layouts.

Managed and distributed all company and supplier assets from Vancouver to Whistler. Hired and trained a logistics intern and team. Liaised with multiple suppliers based in Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler. Managed 5 rest stations, Start/Finish and On Course entertainment, developed the events production schedule and timing matrix.

Management of logistics of the BMO Vancouver Marathon(Vancouver’s only marathon), Turkey Trott and Fall Classic. Contract included hiring and training a logistics team, managing all race equipment and deployment, creating productions schedules and managing warehouse and shipping/receiving.

Management of operations and production of the 2nd annual Great Climate Race, a walking/running event series that enables participants to crowdfund for local renewable energy projects.

• Organized and chaired the Thunderbirds Ring Celebration & Fundraising Dinner, raising over $250,000 for UBC Football.• Designed, produced and executed the event, which included overseeing all aspects of the event including stage management,marketing, program design, silent and live auction as well as the technical and logistical aspects of the event.• Ensured 110 rings were delivered to the correct guests and opened within one minute for a surprise ring ceremony.

POITS is a longstanding tradition striving to build the Sauder Community outside the classroom. The beer garden brings students, alumni and faculty together on a bi-monthly basis. • Responsible for hiring and managing a team • Filed legal paperwork according to the University and British Columbia’s liquor laws• Negotiated a budge with the Commerce Undergraduate Society. Managed the $29,000 budget, reporting revenues and costs associated with each event.• Created partnerships with student groups, local businesses, and sponsors.

• Responsible for all of logistics for the BC events, ensured that all needs were met in a timely manner with complete accuracy.• Planned out all aspects of event operations to ensure complete client satisfaction.• Posted hiring advertisements for hiring of new employees, held phone interviews with successful applicants, scheduled andconducted in person interviews with promising candidates, hired and gave an orientation to employees who successfully made itthrough all steps of the application process.• While working within the office I was able to gain experience with scheduling, hiring, HR and event planning which has providedme with substantial insight into the different aspects of event management and fluidity.
