Y-Innovate developed the Light-Weight Web (LWW) framework for CICS™ back in 2013. This solution allows to access data on System Z directly via webbrowsers or mobile devices. With the Light Weight Web (LWW) framework applications can be modernised and turned into CICS COBOL microservices or restful API's. LWW supports DB2 for storage of webcontent on zOS.
