It provides students with a free membership-based scholarship matching service, and derived its revenues from businesses that needed to reach a student demographic. Studentawards designed and developed web-based advertising using Studentawards' unique proprietary student database, and provided e-mail marketing solutions that included the management of corporate scholarships. The database of students was the largest available in Canada.

In 1998, Encoda Systems acquired Adtraq Data Systems Inc. and Adserve Inc, both companies owned by Ronald Fehler. The comprehensive suite included media buying and management applications integrated with production management, time management, accounting and profitably reporting. The systems processed and managed over 5 billion dollars of media expenditure each year. Ron remained with Encoda Systems as the head of their Advertising Solutions Group until 2002.

KTS Systems Group was the holding company for Adtraq (in Canada) and Adserve (in the US). The companies provided integrated technology solutions and services to advertising agencies and media buying services across North America. Ron founded Adtraq Data systems in 1982 and played the leading roll in the development of the integrated application. Ronald Fehler -
