My first employment as a Pharmacist, worked there, enjoyed it, however by 1980 was working 77 hours a week, being paid for 44. 2 small children at home whom I wanted to spend more time with and needed a way to earn the money I was ($75,000/year by then) yet for less hours. Entered the home based business industry and working just 5 hours per week, consistently and persistently, for 3 years week in and week out I was able to retire at 36 making 3.5 times more than my annual pharmacy salary.
