For example, Crop science organizations develop new seed varieties, such as disease resistance, by correlating genetics, the environment, and growing conditions with crop output results -thousands of sample datasets. Among our customers are Bayer, General Mills, and the USA and Canada departments of agriculture research centers.For perspective, the USA exports 90 million metric tons (200 billion pounds) of corn, soy, and wheat annually, worth 60 billion USD. Each shipment must go through sampling inspection by the US government agency or certified and designated companies. On the visual side, it is all done manually, which is labor-intensive, time-consuming, has a high error rate, and requires certified and experienced inspectors. Vibe reduces the test time from 30 to 1 minute and the error rate from 20-30% to 0.5%, done by an operator instead of an expert.From day one, we adopted a different approach than typical Silicon Valley venture-backed startups, where buzz, revenue, and growth are top priorities.
