I was instrumental in establishing a detailed three-year business plan, marketing collateral, and white papers as well as recruiting resellers within the United States and Europe.Leveraged my extensive supply chain expertise to ensure functionality and reporting methodologies were in place to resolve on shelf availability and phantom inventory issues by forging collaboration between retailers and suppliers.

Led the design and development of supply chain processes focused on improving supply chain efficiencies by developing and implementing comprehensive material acquisition and inventory plans, detailing proposed material expenditures, and projected year-end inventory balances and turns.

Provided operational and strategic leadership in the analysis and stratification (ABC analysis) of raw materials and finished goods inventory, defining processes targeted at cycle counts, returned goods disposition, manufacturing scrap management, and field service inventory programs.

Launched a successful high-end jewelry sales company with full responsibility for all facets of strategic and day-to-day operations including vendor sourcing and negotiations, and the development of all financial and operational processes vital to building a $5 million business.

Managed and led a project team responsible for defining the business needs and functionality requirements for a web-based order and shipment status tool to be utilized for order, reseller, and overall supply chain management functions.

Collaborated with major Latin America distribution partners in leading the successful implementation of direct order shipment capacity for call center and e-Store orders requiring the development of detailed Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements and contracts, work processes, procedures, staffing, and systems changes required for implementation.

Direct oversight and responsibility for leading all aspects of supply chain operations that included the functional areas of demand planning, order management, order fulfillment, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and product inventory acquisition and management for Compaq’s $1.2 billion Latin American Operations.
