  • Asml Israel Ltd.
    Customer Support Npi Project Lead
Asml Israel Ltd. Mar 2011 - Dec 2012
As of March 2011 I am responsible for the product introduction of the TwinScan NXT1950i at a major chip manufacturer located in Israёl.
  • Asml
    Lead Integrator Wafer Stage
    Asml Jul 2009 - Feb 2011
In September 2009 ASML launched a new lithography system to the market, i.e., TwinScan NXT1950i. The aggressive ramp-up of this new tool to all major chip manufacturers introduced several startup challenges on both system integration level as well as mechanical/software reliability level. Due to my detailed knowledge of the new wafer stage in this tool I have been assigned the task to support the integration on wafer stage and system level to understand and solve these challenges. This task has a very broad scope from specific wafer stage reliability issues to system performance problems on for instance overlay or productivity at customer sites as well as at ASML internal development and production. In parrallel to the introduction of the new platform to the market the development roadmap had to be supported with increasing system performance demands. In this process I have been responsible for the setup of the test specifications to secure the integration steps of these newly developed functionalities. The focus has been on understanding test results and initiating new directions to solve raised issues on both wafer stage and system performance level.
  • Asml
    Team Leader Control
    Asml Oct 2007 - Jun 2009
As member of the Mechatronics department I am leading a group of 9 control engineers. The team is working on the integration of the next generation wafer stage for the TwinScan lithographic system of ASML.
  • Asml
    Senior Mechatronical Engineer
    Asml Dec 2006 - Sep 2007
As a senior engineer of the mechatronical department at the Development & Engineering department of ASML, my responsibilities are to perform mechantronical feasibility and performance studies, i.e., both simulation and experimental. Moreover, advanced control strategies are developed and tested on lithographical equipment. The main focus is on the development and integration of new wafer stage platfoms used in lithography machines.
  • Daf Trucks N.V.
    Scientific Researcher
    Daf Trucks N.V. Jun 2004 - Dec 2006
At DAF Trucks I have been a member of the product development department, where I was responsible the development and integration of new control features for future truck generations, such as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Electronic Braking System (EBS). My activities focused on both the verification and validation phase of the V-cycle development process by modeling the desired functionality in a Unified Modelling Language (UML) or state machine model. During this phase test scenarios are generated based on these models using tools originating from the field of embedded software. In addition, Rapid Prototyping testing is used to verify the model-based functionality at an early development phase on a real vehicle. During the validation phase Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) setups are used where all controller units are electronically connected like in a real vehicle. However the vehicle dynamics is simulated by real-time model (dSPACE/Matlab/Simulink).
  • Integrated Dynamics Engineering
    Mechatronical Engineer
Integrated Dynamics Engineering Feb 2002 - Jun 2004
As a member of the mechatronical department at the Research & Development site of IDE, my responsibilities have been to perform mechantronical feasibility and performance studies, i.e., both simulation and experimental. Moreover, advanced control strategies have been developed and tested on mechatronical equipment. The main focus have been two-folded, i.e., i) active vibration isolation and ii) high performance robotics, both applications originating from the semiconductor field. During the feasibility and performance studies advanced control strategies are implemented in a Rapid Prototyping environment (dSPACE/Matlab/Simulink) to analyze and compare the theoretical performance with the practically achieved performance. As an outcome of these studies specifications have been made for newly built controllers, i.e., describing the functionality of the control strategy in both hardware and software (mainly Firmware).
