Roni Washington is a writer, editor, director, published author, producer, photographer, and graphic designer with passion for The Arts. Also know as Roxi Walsh. Two different beings inside one unique soul. Bringing two forces together, as she brings creation to life. She is a creative soul whose vision is to beautify and enlighten the world through literary art; an alumna of Norfolk State University, and a lifelong family member of “The Marching Spartan Legion”, there she learned the art of rhythm through music. Roni Washington aka Roxi Walsh, began this journey of writing at a very young age where she used her words as self-expression. Always willing to express herself whether through dance, music, fashion, song, or literature. Roni Washington started Mint House Publications with a vision; experiencing the world through her eyes, self publishing her debut novel “Treacherous...everyone is at Heart”, which can be found on Amazon. She has also produced pieces such as “HE and Me, Elements of Art, and is currently working on her second novel I AM..., along with a playwright "Fat Back". Roni Washington is also a co-writer and director for a local TV series Precinct 757. She has collaborated with her partner/husband in the production R.A.W. & R.A.M. (Real as Women & Real as Men: The Reflections of an Open Mind). She is currently concentrating on broadening her field of vision with P.U.R.P.O.S.E. 4 Life; a Christian based organization who uses The Arts to help the youth find their P.U.R.P.O.S.E.
