I’m a third-year Computer Science student at Dalhousie University, driven by a passion for technology and a hands-on approach to solving real-world problems. Currently, I work at the PROSIT Research Lab, where I focus on developing machine learning models to predict anxiety disorders, exploring innovative approaches like handwriting analysis and co-authoring a systematic review paper on using speech data for anxiety prediction.At Deep Vision, I developed a video processing application for scientists at Merinov, featuring robust playback, precision seeking, and automated detection windows to streamline footage analysis. I also created video and image encoding/decoding libraries with modern C++ APIs, which are regularly utilized in various company projects.In addition to my professional experience, I enjoy exploring new technology stacks and have developed mobile applications for iOS during my free time. My curiosity extends to music and sound, where I explore tools like Logic Pro, examine frequencies, and find patterns in audio spectrograms, with a particular interest in how these relate to emotional states—connecting back to my research on anxiety.As I look forward to my next co-op work term, I am excited about opportunities to work with new technologies and apply my skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. I am eager to contribute to projects where I can continue learning, grow my expertise, and make a meaningful impact.
