As a Data Science Intern at CAMERI, the Israeli Coastal & Marine Engineering Research Institute, I apply my skills and passion for data, AI, and machine learning to solve real-world problems in the fields of oceanography, hydrology, and environmental engineering. I have been working at CAMERI for over a year and a half, while pursuing my B.Sc in Data Science and Engineering at the Technion, one of the top universities in Israel. My core competencies include programming in Python, using various libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and PySpark, data engineering and curation, database management using SQL, PostgreSQL, and Spark, machine learning and deep learning models, computer vision techniques such as Canny algorithm, and GIS-related work and models. I have also gained experience in data mining and scraping, data analysis and visualization, EDA, data cleaning and inference, and statistics using R and Matlab. In addition, I have a background in electronics engineering and service desk analysis, which have enhanced my technical and communication skills. I am highly motivated and goal-oriented, an excellent team player, and always eager to learn and improve myself and my workplace.
