Oversee the Community Initiatives technical assistance (TA) team providing support to Second Chance Act grantees running reentry programs that incorporate mentoring and family-based support. Community Initiatives TA focuses on the partnership between community-based organizations and corrections and juvenile justice agencies as well cultivating and developing resources for the reentry field on mentoring and working with incarcerated parents.

Provide technical assistance to non-profit and local government agencies around the country that have been awarded Second Chance Act grants to run reentry programs.Specific grant programs I have worked with include the Adult Reentry Demonstration project, Technology Career Training Program for Incarcerated Adults and Juveniles, Strengthening Relationships Between Young Fathers and Their Children: A Reentry Mentoring Project, and the Juvenile Reentry Systems Reform program.

Strong Fathers, Stronger Families Program

Manhattan Arraignment Diversion Project (MAP)MAP is a court-based diversion program that intervenes at the first court appearance and advocates to connect defendants experiencing mental illness and/or substance abuse issues with alternatives to incarceration including treatment and supportive services.

Wade Academies MS 117X, a middle school that is partnered with Turnaround for Children.

The Boulder County Juvenile Assessment Center (BCJAC) is a unit of Juvenile Services under the Community Justice Services Division of the Boulder County Community Services Department.
