Ronish Dua is a CS @ UVA | Prev SWE @ Docusign. Colleagues describe them as "I had the pleasure of working with Ronish during his three-month summer internship. During this time, he tackled an ambitious project to build a Sandbox Self-Service application for our Salesforce development team. This project required him to learn and apply various technologies, including Salesforce APIs, Slack API, AWS (Lambda/EventBridge/DynamoDB), NodeJS, jsForce, and Agile Scrum methodologies. Ronish was provided with the solution and technical design, and he demonstrated remarkable autonomy in building out the functionality. He effectively utilized the mentorship of Senior Engineers when necessary, showing initiative and a strong ability to learn and adapt. Additionally, he created comprehensive Confluence documentation for the project and provided knowledge transfer (KT) to my team, ensuring they could complete the solution after his departure. Despite the steep learning curve, Ronish successfully developed a service in NodeJS, running on AWS, that allows Salesforce Developers to request sandboxes from a dedicated pool. The solution, which is over 90% complete, will significantly reduce rework by ensuring our developers work from near-production-like systems, delivering a positive ROI for our organization. Ronish's ability to independently build such a complex solution is a testament to his technical skills, dedication, and ability to thrive professionally.
