I have over 20 years of experience in human resources and recruiting, working with leading companies such as Visa, Amazon and Microsoft.I believe that in order to build a cohesive and high performing organization, you need to define the interviewing talent bar and tie it to the performance metrics and competencies needed to perform each job successfully. Your Talent Acquisition team needs to work in synchronization with the Talent Management team to weave that thread of what good looks like through the entire candidate and employee journey. This takes support from the Senior Leadership to embrace this philosophy where hiring new talent isn't looked up on as a burden; but rather a privilege and responsibility to hire the next generation of workers.I am passionate about training the leaders of today and tomorrow, using data-driven metrics and strategies because you can't improve what you don't measure. I co-created and managed the Amazon Recruiter Academy Program, a training initiative that delivered highly qualified recruiters for the eCommerce Giant. I also defined and implemented the roadmap for increasing the diversity footprint across the North America region of Thoughtworks, a forward-thinking custom software development consulting firm.
