About Ronit Dey

I am an aspiring medical student on my gap year working in a hospital to get more clinical experience. I graduated from Rice University, Houston with a double major in kinesiology and cognitive science with a minor in bio-chemistry and cell biology. I have a strong academic record and research experience in the life sciences. I have been working in life sciences research for nearly my entire undergraduate career. I believe my exposure to core research allowed me to develop strong analytical and organizational skills needed to identify and tackle complex problems. I enjoy working with people and bringing a smile to their faces. In addition to academic and professional work, I am a passionate soccer player and coach. As the Vice-President of my Club Soccer team , I nurtured my love of athletics, teamwork, coaching and competitive sports.
