I joined PlanMember Securities Corporation in January 2019 as Director of Partner Development to lead broker/dealer recruiting efforts. I'm focused on growing the firm’s next generation of Financial Centers nationwide as well as adding advisors to existing Financial Center teams.In 1995 I co-founded Peritus Asset Management, Inc. and served as CEO and senior portfolio manager. For 23 years I worked with executives on Wall Street in both new issue and secondary trading in the leveraged loan and high yield bond asset classes. Helping to design and bring to market the first actively-managed high yield corporate bond/loan ETF (ticker symbol HYLD) trading on the NYSE, I built and headed the wholesaler team raising ~$1.2 Billion in HYLD in 2½ years, and developed a strategy and network of prospects at wirehouses, independent RIAs and other institutions. Before founding Peritus, I was a financial consultant with Smith Barney. Prior to my investment career, I played professional football for seven years, first with the San Francisco 49ers, winning Super Bowl XXIII. After the 49ers I played with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks and retired in 1993.
