About Ron Lilek

I have over fifteen years of marketing and sales experience. Currently, I'm working for an IT Managed Services Provider. Our differentiator at StratusComm is that we provide an IT Department to businesses that cannot afford to support highly-skilled technical expertise in-house, and that we deliver the same level of superior customer service to both our large and small clients. Our revenue was up 163% in 2022. This proves that doing great work and providing a consistently superior customer experience pays off. Recently, we've become the sole U.S. distributor and re-seller of Neuroo, the developer of revolutionary AI-based video analytics software for increased safety and security in private or public locations. Since Neuroo has just recently entered the U.S. market, my role includes identifying prospective clients, partners, and systems integrators. In previous roles (Adeo Web, Alpine Consulting, Boardwalktech) I've done direct sales of eCommerce platforms and systems integration, re-sold software products from IBM and Adobe, and successfully recruited partners and re-sellers. I've also worked for eight years as a freelance writer of articles (mostly on technology) for Scripted.com, one of America's top providers of content for companies of every ilk. To me, literacy is a key to effective selling, and being proficient with the written word enables the salesperson to express his/her product in terms that are clear and understandable. This is particularly true when selling technology. Throughout my career, I've worked with great managers and great teams. There is no substitute for teamwork. In technology sales, very few, if any, accomplishments are solo efforts. Sharing the glory of victory is one of my biggest joys, but being in sales is not all light and laughter. Sometimes there are defeats, and a true team player never avoids accountability for his/her mistakes but carries the belief that every failure is simply a rung on the ladder of success.
