Information technology is my professional and personal passion. My skill set includes extensive platform, system, and application knowledge, focusing during the last decade-plus on sales and pre-sales support for some of the most advanced technologies on the market. I am looking forward to continuing to provide success to innovative and energetic organizations in this arena. My focus for the last decade-plus has been in the technical pre-sales arena for enterprise software technology. This has leveraged my: - presentation skills to audiences large and small, including C-level executives, selection committees, and at trade shows- verbal abilities in responding to RFIs, RFPs- extensive technical experienceI am articulate and powerful in oral and written communication, and continue to hone the diplomatic skills essential to working with internal and client support, development, marketing, user and management personnel. My experience has generally focused on working with large-scale installations, providing discovery, needs analysis, and solution selling. In group environments I am able to lead, accurately isolate and report on the major issues, and when called for, guide toward a consensus in order to coordinate strategies and define the appropriate resources. I have worked with industry analysts and the trade media as well as provided "evangelical" messaging to groups large and small. I feel as comfortable at a conference table or podium as a keyboard, able to turn arcane "geek speak" into effective understanding as applied to business issues. I have enjoyed these years tremendously. I have also free-lanced for PC consumer and private industry publications, developed and maintain several commercial and non-profit web sites, and am actively involved in exploring new technology in my "spare time." My hobbies include theater, reading, writing, music, and photography. I am a very active volunteer in church and civic organizations.
