I love to build and lead development teams that design amazing software that solves real-world problems. My core principles for doing that effectively are:1. Be both a player and a coach, and keep both technical and business objectives in clear focus.2. Understand the professional and personal motivations of the people I'm around. Developers and stakeholders are all people, and my job is to make sure that there is an ongoing, meaningful dialogue that runs through the project from start to finish. 4. Never lose the fun of building software and learning new things.Technical expertise includes enterprise architecture, distributed systems and use case driven development. Some of the tools in my go-to toolkit include (but are not limited to) Python, PyTorch, Ruby/Rails, Node, SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle), NoSQL (DynamoDB, Mongo, Redis), Antlr, D3.js. Legal expertise in intellectual property, corporate/startup concerns, contract law, estates and open-source strategies.
