Built precedent setting experiences for shared music listening in the home.Created and expanded scope of the Sonos Music API (SMAPI), integrating Sonos with global online music providers such as Spotify, Google and Apple Music. Lead cross-function product teams (embedded, controller, web) for end-to-end delivery of streaming music integrations on Sonos.Initiated and drove Sonos company-wide adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Pioneered initial adoption in support of streaming music partners, and was a key driver its rapid growth in support of realtime product telemetry and cloud based control and streaming.

Led the geographically distributed software team developing cross-platform software (Linux, Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad) through multiple software releases and new hardware product introductions. Grew a web services technology framework for integration with online streaming music providers from infancy to production scale. Presided through the the early phase of major growth in the development organization, scaling up while maintaining a high quality bar for hiring and establishing process and functional organization for parallel product development.Led the Business Solutions Group responsible for the company's internal and external web presence, eCommerce, internal support tools, data warehousing and business intelligence. Mentored the team in establishing best practices for SDLC. Instituted improvement in change control and quality assurance. Developed long term resource roadmap and staffing plan.

Led the software engineering team for Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach, Turbine’s premier MMORPG. Fostered engineering best practices in the team. Coordinated implementation and release schedules with other functional groups within Turbine, such as art, animation, design, service and billing.

Cakewalk develops award winning production tools for musicians and composers. Led the software engineering and quality assurance team at Cakewalk, including all aspects of software design, scheduling, implementation, testing and release. Continuously improved an agile development process to minimize project risks while staying nimble in response to changes in the market. Developed corporate strategy, marketing initiatives, bundling, licensing and distribution with Cakewalk’s management team. Embraced emerging technology and standards to help guide Cakewalk’s long-term planning. Communicate technology vision to employees, customers and industry colleagues at industry meetings and in white papers.
